In the interview to Ambassador of German Federative Republic in Ukraine Ditmar Studeman said Germany is interested in cooperation within the framework of consortium for the development of gas-transport system between Ukraine, Russia and Germany.
The Ambassador reckons that Russia and Ukraine will reach the reasonable decision which satisfies both sides. Russia should give Ukraine a chance of gradual switch to the market price, Mr. Studeman told. The cooperation on the consortium was suspended and it was not Germany which did it. “We are very interested in cooperation on an equal footing with Ukraine and Russia. It was Ukraine-Russia ties which caused the suspense of the project. The thing is that we were not equitable part of the consortium,” added he.
