“It is inadmissible to revise the agreement on Russian Black Sea Fleet”

It is inadmissible to revise the base agreement on the conditions of location of Russian Black Sea Fleet on the territory of Ukraine, Russian Defence Minister Sergey Ivanov said.

“The agreement on division of Soviet Black Sea Fleet is one of the components of the large Russian-Ukrainian agreement. The second part of the agreement is the recognition of the frontiers of two countries. That is why to revise the agreement means to play with fire,” said Defence Minister Ivanov.
