Commenting on the recent declaration of the President of Ukraine concerning the political reform, Josef Vinsky, MP of Ukraine and the first secretary of Socialistic Party Council, declared that despite everything the political reform would come in force January 1, 2006 and would be ratified after the parliamentary elections once and for all.

“Now Yushchenko accuses the reform, which has not come in force yet, of that it serves neither Ukraine nor the Ukrainians. And what is more, he considers that this reform was passed secretly, without public discussion. In this connection the President is going to address the nation in the New Year,” points out Vinsky.

According to the deputy, “there is nothing new in these statements.” He added that “the President always lacked enthusiasm for the reform, despite the fact that he himself voted for it and supported it.”

“Nevertheless, despite everything, the pressing position of the President will mean nothing. The political reform has been voted for, and it will come into force according to the stated term. The political reform will come in force January 1, 2006 and will be ratified after the parliamentary elections once and for all,” assured Vinsky.
