Anatoly Kinakh, Secretary of National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, will pay an official visit to Russia December 22-23. He is scheduled to meet with his colleague Igor Ivanov, members of Russian government and representatives of Russian business.
As NSDC press office reported, Kinakh and Ivanov are to discuss the activity of Intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation under the chairmanship of Presidents of Ukraine and Russia, Yushchenko and Putin, the action plan of Ukraine-Russia for 2006 in order to create conditions for intensification of bilateral cooperation in all directions of economic collaboration.
The side are also planned to discuss a cooperation plan on strengthening of coordination of actions of NSDC of Ukraine and Security Council of Russia, cooperation of both departments in settlement of Transdniestrian conflict.
