“We plan to liquidate the outbreak of bird flu till the end of the day," a member of “People’s Union Our Ukraine” party, Crimean PM Anatoly Burdyuhov declared.
"Poultry has been slaughtered in every settlement of the peninsula where a bird flu virus had been found. It makes about 30 000 birds. All people got vaccinated from flu. Disinfection and utilization of implements is made by 92%."
“The situation is stable on the whole on the territory of Crimea. Outbreaks of bird flu are not fixed in other settlements. There are no outbreaks among people. People understood that it is necessary to take preventative measures and mostly keep their poultry in closed houses,” Mr. Burdyugov added.
