Ami Water Company, Austria confirmed its willingness to invest $25 million in improvement of Kharkiv water-supply, Kharjkiv Regional Administration press office told.
Director General Helmut Weidel and Kharkiv Water Channel may cooperate and create a joint company.
Kharkiv Governor Arsen Avakov in turns said it was not the first time foreign investors showed their interest in the city water-supply. All propositions will be thoroughly examined and the open contest will find out the winner-investor, Avakov concluded. The city will choose the contesters in accordance with the advantages of their tariff policy and their models of cooperation, City Chairman Vasyl Shumilkin said.
