Businessman Rinat Akhmetov confirmed his intention to enter Party of Regions and to take part in the parliamentary elections, the press office of the businessman reports.
“I consider it an honour to receive invitation to join Party of Regions, and I informed the party leader about my intention to accept his offer to run for deputy’s mandate by the party ticket. I will be glad to cooperate with leaders of the parties in order to find new and non-typical solutions of the tasks, important for Ukraine,” reads the statement.
“I always think about the ways to help our country. I’ve decided that it is the very moment for taking part in political life of the county. Having become the deputy, I will be of maximum use for Ukraine; I will do my best to improve life of all my nationals,” notes Akhmetov.
