Guard did not let Piskun pass in Prosecutor’s General Office

The guard of General Office of Public Prosecutor did not let Svyatoslav Piskun pass in the building of GOPP.

Today’s morning Piskun arrived in Prosecutor’s General Office for fulfilling his duty after the Shevchenko court had cancelled the President’s decree concerning Piskun’s dismissal and reinstated him in the office of Prosecutor General of Ukraine, UNIAN reported.

According to UNIAN’s interlocutor, the guard acted in accordance with the President’s decree on dismissal of Svyatoslav Piskun from the office of Prosecutor General and appointment of Alexander Medvedko.

Svyatoslav Piskun intended to return to work Monday, as he declared after the court reinstated him in the office of Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

In response to the question whether he consider it strange to have two Prosecutors General in the country, Piskun said that “the collapse was intentional, or the power carelessly created it by itself and let the power solve it.”
