On November 1, 2005, the Central Electoral Commission included 36,546,000 voters in general lists of voters in the 2006 parliamentary elections, CEC Chairman Yaroslav Davydovich told journalists in Kyiv on Wednesday.

Though the lists are not ideal but the next four months would be enough to make necessary corrections, he noted.

As the lists are supposed to be continuously upgraded and updated the number of voters may change.

Yaroslav Davydovich reported that the CEC would complete checking the lists and send them back to territorial commissions by February 6, 2006.
