On October 28 the ceremony of reward the winners of All-Ukrainian contest The Journalist of Information Society was held in Kiev.
JIS program was created by Information Society of Ukraine Foundation. Since 2001 it has held the contest on the best journalistic material concerning the information society.
The competent judges chose the best materials. The winners of contest-2005 became:
The winner of JIS nomination is Maksim Blagonravin, Expert-Ukraine magazine;
The second place is occupied by Irina Bokhno, Glavred agency;
The third one is Petr Izhik, Day newspaper.
The Best Internet-Journalist of Information Society – Nadezhda Balovsyak, Internet-news agency.
The Best TV Journalist – Elena Solodovnikova, the First Capital Kharkiv TV.
The Best Radio Journalist – Tatyana Gorbul Ukraine International radio station.
The Best Journalist of Specialized Edition – Kirill Yaroshenko, HI-TECH magazine.
The Beast Journalist of Non-specialized Edition – Taras Panyo, Zerkalo Nedeli weekly.
The Special nomination is taken by Irina Chernyavskaya, Invest-gazeta.
Over 70 Ukrainian journalists were taken part in the contest. There were 132 applications to consider.
