President Victor Yushchenko says all Kryvorizhstal privatization funds will be used tofinance state development programs to ensure qualitative changes in the economy and social life. He said government would launch a range of projects to modernize the municipal sector, support farming and develop high technologies and science.
“Now we develop mechanism for usage of these funds and we are going to discuss it publicly in order to reach a political solution,” he said in Kharkiv. “We will find mechanisms to use this money to benefit all Ukrainians.”
The Head of State stressed that each Ukrainian citizen had benefited from the Kryvorizhstal privatization. “This victory belongs to all of us. We showed all that our political will can create a new reality, making business and common people harmonically co-exist," he added.
