Ukraine counts on the new German Government's support of Ukraine's Eurointegration intentions especially the initiative, spread by the opposing bloc CDU/CSU in the German Bundestag on considering the matter of granting Ukraine clear European prospect.
Ukraine hopes to renew the active political dialogue and distinctive cooperation, especially in the context of fulfillment of agreements, which were reached during the President's visit to Germany in March 2005, the Foreign Ministry's spokesman Vasily Filipchuk told a Tuesday news briefing, Cabinet's press office reported.
According to him, Ukraine is ready to work toward creation of prerequisites of transferring Ukrainian-German relations to the new level of European partnership. With this regard important role will play the sixth Ukrainian-German political consultations, headed by the President and the Federal German Chancellor, slated for early 2006, the spokesman stressed.
