Victor Yushchenko visited the 275th Ammunition Base near the village of Novobohdanivka in the Melitopol district to inspect the way emergency services are dealing with the devastating aftermath of the 2004-05 explosions.
The operation to utilize missiles has not been sufficiently financed. After the first explosion local authorities failed to secure the villagers, clean the territory and utilize ammunition.This year, the Cabinet provided more than two million hryvnyas to restore houses in Novobohdanivka, Spaske, Troyitske, and Vidrodzennya.
President Victor Yushchenko completed his visit to the Zaporizhzhya Region and left for Kiev.
