President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko ordered to create historical and cultural reserve “Babiy Yar” in Kiev. As reported in President’s press office, Cabinet is charged to consider this issue before October of the current year.
As a reminder, more than 100 thousand of natives and prisoners of war were shot in Babiy Yar during fascist occupation.
At the beginning of summer, the Kiev city state administration erected a monument to victims of Nazism on the place of the mass execution.
