NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer intends to visit Ukraine in October, as reported by the director of NATO Information and Documentation Center in Ukraine Michel Dure during the meeting with deputy chairman of Odessa regional state administration Arsen Yatsenyuk.
According to Dure, a visit of the representative delegation, headed by NATO Secretary General, to Ukraine is being prepared. The visit is scheduled for October 19-22. Members of the delegation intend to visit Odessa as well.
Dure also underlined that NATO emphasizes strengthening of liaison with Ukraine in connection with its future Eurointegration trends.
