Supreme Council of Crimea accepted Matvienko’s resignation from the post of Chairman of Council of Ministers in view of the submitted application on resignation

88 deputies, out of 93 present, voted for this decision, and two deputies voted against.

As reported earlier, Chairman of Ministers Council of Crimea Anatoly Matvienko delivered his resignation to President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, as reported in press office of Autonomy’s government.

In Crimean PM’s statement it is said that the cause of resignation is that party “Sobor”, headed by Matvienko, and which is in Bloc of Yulia Timoshenko, did not vote for the appointment of Yuri Yekhanurov on the post of PM of Ukraine.
