The Presidential Clemency Commission examined and approved appeal for clemency of eighty-five prisoner of Kachanovskaya correctional labor colony in Kharkov region. The appeal for clemency was done by Nina Karpachyova the top official for human rights of Ukraine.
Olga Samoylyak is veteran of II World War and war-disabled person, awarded with 12 medals and orders. In 2003 she killed a neighbor and was sentenced to seven years in jail. Now, she has completely acknowledged an offence.
