AN-148 the new Ukrainian-Russian regional reactive plane successfully passed the tests under extreme conditions in Uzbekistan and has started trying in Armenian mountains.
The tests will last a week. The program consists of following steps: mid-fight and pilot engine, fuel system and other equipment under conditions of low oxygen value and high mountains.
New regional AN-148 is constructed by Ukraine, Russia with support of the USA, Germany and France. Antonov’s Aircraft Factory constructed and sent to tests three experimental model of AN-148.
According to experts, AN-148 exceeds similar models by economy of the exploitation. Approximate absorption of market till 2013 consists of about 500 planes; the approximate value of it is $16.2-18 million depending on bundling.
