The World Bank backs the Cabinet in its quest to WTO before the end of the current year.
"We hope Ukraine to enter WTO this year. It is very important for the country," stated Paul Birmingham, the Director of the World Bank in Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus.
He satisfied with the work of parliament of Ukraine which passed major part of WTO drafts. The relationship with the World Bank will not suffer if WTO denies Ukraine in this year.
We remind that on July 5, the World Bank granted Ukraine $251 million for the development of Ukrainian economy.
