The faction of Social Democratic Party of Ukraine (united) and faction of Ukrainian People’s Party (UNP) have refused to take part in voting for state bill drafts till deputies – duel jobholders abdicate from deputy’s plenary powers.
The representative of SDPU (u) faction Igor Shurma has pointed out that the faction realizes the necessity to pass the row of bill drafts, but during 120 days 30 people’s deputies – duel jobholders violate Constitution of Ukraine, the law on state service, the law on corruption, and ,thus, "jeer at Basic Law of Ukraine and neglect it."
That is why the SDPU (u) faction has refused to take part in voting for state bill draft till deputies – duel jobholders abdicate from deputy’s plenary powers or are dismissed from the posts in executive structures of the power.
The chairman of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Vladimir Litvin, has addressed the deputies with the request to vote, as the question is about interests of Ukrainian people.
He also admitted that Conciliation council of factions’ leaders and parliamentary groups with the assistance of the prime minister of Ukraine, Julia Timoshenko, and some members of the government will take place today. And deputies will be able to raise the issue about deputies – duel jobholders there.
