The General Office of Public Prosecutor accused the members of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of falsifying the results of the presidential elections 2004. The head prosecutor, Sviatoslav Piskun, informed about this in air of "the 5th Channel." He said, that the inspection that lasted almost month, has been finished and they would start presenting accusations, MIGnew.com.ua reported.

More of that Piskun said that "during the investigation we’ll know who gave the instructions to the members of CEC regarding the falsifying the results of the elections."

Piskun stressed that today in Ukraine about 778 criminal cases about the election falsifications has been initiated and 361 criminal cases has been delivered to court. According to him, 109 criminal cases have been judged.

The general prosecutor also noted that these cases are brought not against those, who threw down the voting papers, but against those who falsified the election results on the district and regional level. "These people include the heads of the departments of the interior and the heads of the electoral districts," stressed Piskun.
