The president of Ukraine, Victor Yushchenko guarantees there will no xenophobia, anti-Semitism and international enmity in Ukraine. He declared about it during the meeting with the directors of Jewish organizations of North America.
"We guarantee equal rights to all national communities, including Jewish," pointed out the president. He assured that the state will pay special attention on creations of adequate conditions for satisfying mental, educational, cultural and social needs of all ethnic communities, living in Ukraine.
The Ambassador of the USA in Ukraine, John Herbst, the chairman of the Vaad of Ukraine, Joseph Zisels, the first deputy of the State secretary of Ukraine, Alexander, and the first deputy of the State secretary of Ukraine, Ivan Vasunik, also took part in the meeting.
