Supporters of Party of Regions hold a protests action against political repressions and lawlessness. About 15 thousand demonstrators are standing near the building of Verkhovna Rada, ForUm’s correspondent reports.
The participants of the action cry out "Liberty to prisoners of conscience", "Impeachment to Yushchenko", "Democracy – yes, Repressions – no", "Liberty to Boris Kolesnikov". They hold the placards with inscriptions "No to political inquisition", "Presidents and mayors are appointed due to their 'orange' colour", "GOPP (General Office of Public Prosecutor – ed.) and MIA! Stop political repressions".
The leader of Party of Regions Victor Yanukovich appeared before demonstrators. Besides, the fence around Verkhovna Rada is tied up by blue ribbons.
The plenary session of VR can not start as the representatives of Party of Regions have blocked the tribune.
