The faction of "Regions of Ukraine" in Verkhovna Rada intends to initiate resignation of the prosecutor general Svyatoslav Piskun, if he does not give explanations and prosecution proofs in the case of the chairman of Donetsk regional council, Boris Kolesnikov.
The deputy Pavel Sulkovsky declared that "if Piskun does not come to the parliament and does not give explanations and proofs, the faction of 'Regiona of Ukraine' will initiate resignation of the prosecutor general."
The deputy added that a proper draft has been already prepared.
We remind, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine asked the prosecutor general Svyatoslav Piskun to consider the possibility of change of the preventive punishment for the chairman of Donetsk regional council, Boris Kolesnikov, and for the former chairman of Transcarpathian regional state administration, Ivan Rizak.
