According to the decision of Office of Public Prosecutor of Odessa region, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine called the whole-Ukrainian search for the former head of Odessa city administration Ruslan Bodelan.
According to Department of public contacts of MIA of Ukraine Bodelan is suspected of administration of crime due to the article 364, part 2 of Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of power or official position, which entails serious consequences).
As reported before, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is preparing an appeal to MIA of Russia concerning imposition of whereabouts and citizenship of Sergey Kivalov, Nickolay Bilokon, Vladimir Shcherban and Ruslan Bodelan.
The press-service of Odessa city organization of Party of Regions refutes information that Bodelan absconds from investigation. According to the press-service, Bodelan undergoes a course of medical treatment in one of military hospitals of Russia, and on arrival in this country he registered in consular department of Embassy of Ukraine in Russia.
