Five Ukrainian citizens, who were taking part in the protest action of Byelorussian opposition devoted to the 19th anniversary of Chernobyl catastrophe, were arrested in Minsk yesterday, MIGnews.com.ua reported. Besides, 13 citizens of Byelorussia and 14 citizens of Russia were detained as well.

The arrested citizens have been placed in different district departments of Ministry of Internal Affairs in Minsk and will appear before court this morning. Having examined the passports of the Ukrainian citizens the representatives of the law machinery did not find the entry visa stamps to Byelorussia.

All of detained Ukrainians belong to the Ukrainian organization "National alliance".
