The people’s deputy of Ukraine Taras Chornovil initiates the resignation of Vladimir Stelmakh, the head of National Bank of Ukraine.
"According to the article 93 of Constitution of Ukraine and article 6.2.1 of Regulations of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, in order of legislative initiative I introduce a decree draft 'About resignation of V.S. Stelmakh from the post of the head of National Bank of Ukraine'."- is said in the document, which was sent to the ForUm’s address.
Besides, the document contains the decree of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "About resignation of V.S. Stelmakh from the post of the head of National Bank of Ukraine", signed by the speaker Vladimir Litvin.
"In connection with that actions of the head of National Bank of Ukraine, Vladimir Stelmakh, caused financial crisis in Ukraine
Verkhovna Rada decides:
To consider the work of the head of National Bank of Ukraine, Vladimir Stelmakh, unsatisfactory due to the actions, which caused the financial crisis in Ukraine.
To appeal to the president of Ukraine, Victor Yushchenko, with demand to submit for consideration to Verkhovna Rada the declaration about resignation of Stelmah from the work status according to the article 85, part 18 of Constitution of Ukraine."
