In the near future the prosecutor general, Svyatoslav Piskun, will leave for the US to meet with the major Nickolay Melnichenko, the widow of the journalist Georgy Gongadze reported in the exclusive interview to ForUm’s correspondent.
"Prosecutor general of Ukraine declared that he is ready to go to the USA with the investigative group to make an expert examination and to interrogate Melnichenko," said Myroslava Gongadze. At the same time she does not know, when exactly the visit will take place.
During her visit to Ukraine Myroslava managed to identify some material evidence, but she did not specify which one in particular. "I can not name the very material evidence due to signed statement not to disclose information".
According to Myroslava, she "pushed slightly" the Gongadze’s case – she met with representatives of law machinery and investigative group, and declared her position as regards this. "I think I added fuel to this state machine," Myroslava pointed out.
