October 19, 2004 European Court on Human Rights made a decision according to which Central election committee of Ukraine illegally expunged Melnichenko from the election list of Socialistic Party of Ukraine during election campaign to Verkhovna Rada.
Ukraine is obliged to pay off Melnichenko five thousand euros for moral damage during three months.
