The general prosecutor of Ukraine Svyatoslav Piskun did not arrive in the USA, where he planned to meet with the ex-major Nickolay Melnichenko. The ex-deputy of Verhovna Rada of Ukraine Alexander Eliashkevich declared about it in an interview to radio "Svoboda" .
According to Eliashkevich, Piskun planned to arrive in the USA before Yushchenko, to meet with Melnichenko and Eliashkevich himself, and only then "to organize the meeting with the president".
"Everything was arranged, but Piskun reported last minute that he would not arrive in the USA. He actually deranged the meeting with Yushchenko planned on Tuesday morning", - the deputy added.
"It proves once again that Piskun can not be trusted, he lies all the time", - Eliashkevich said .
