On yesterday's meeting government approved a bill provided for decrease of imported tariffs on imported meat to 10%, on fish to zero rate. Prime minister of Ukraine Julia Timoshenko reported about it.
According to her, zero rate will be set, above all things, on those kinds of fish, which are not caught in waters of Ukraine. She explained also that government suggested decrease of imported tariffs due to deficit of meat and fish on markets, UNIAN informed.

Timoshenko marked that for rapid passing of this bill draft in Verhovna Rada government would appeal to the president of Ukraine to define this bill as a top-priority one. She added also, that government would do everything possible to accelerate acceptance of bills concerning decrease of imported tariffs on food stuff.
