Boris Beresovsky reported that the formal reason of journey to Ukraine was an invitation of the Ukrainian broadcasting company "Studio "1+1" for an interview.
"This was not a simple invitation, but even a suggestion – what flatters me very much– to pay my traveling expense", – he marked.
According to him, an interview was planned on the beginning of March, but was postponed to subsequent date. However he did not specify the possible date of his arrival to Kiev.
As Beresovsky declared, his planned journey was unconnected with the visit of president of Russia to Kiev (on March, 19) in any way. "Once again I want to repeat that my arrival to Ukraine is unconnected with Putin’s visit in any way", – he said.
Beresovsky marked that he declared about the desire to visit Kiev yet during "orange revolution" in November-December, 2004.
